Electrical Panel Builder, Electrical & Automation Technicians/Graduates.

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Panel Builder / Electrical & Automation Technicians/Graduates to assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot industrial control panels and automation systems. This role involves working from electrical schematics, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, and supporting automation and control system design, build & test.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire electrical control panels, PLC panels, MCCs, and automation enclosures.
  • Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
  • Install and wire components such as PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, relays, contactors, power supplies, and terminal blocks.
  • Perform point-to-point wiring, labeling, and cable management.
  • Test panels for functionality, continuity, and compliance with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues during build and testing.
  • Assist with on-site panel reassemblies & installation, commissioning, and startup support as required.
  • Ensure panels meet appropriate standards & specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and automation teams.
  • Document changes, redlines, and as-built drawings.

Requirements:

  • 3rd level qualification with an emphasis in Electrical or Automation, level6 or level7.
  • Technical degree, diploma, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in electrical or automation fields.
  • Experience building and wiring industrial control panels.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Familiarity with PLC-based control systems and industrial automation components.
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
